IntroductionJust think—even though the church has often refused to acknowledge women for leadership roles, God, nonetheless, has created women to be equal with men. Not only that, God has empowered women for strong leadership roles and has commissioned them to take the land for His kingdom.

Check afterward to see how you did by looking it up. Put the passage on a 3x5 card. Carry it with you, as an encouragement for the call to leadership in ministry upon your life.

For Group Study Begin your group time by reading aloud Luke 4:18-19, and then discuss how it might be applied to each one’s call and leadership roles in ministry. Also discuss any obstacles they’ve been up against as women in ministry—and testimonies of how they overcame those obstacles.End the meeting by praying as a group that God empower each woman for even greater leadership roles and to become a more powerful voice in ministry. Pray that barriers be broken down and that each woman take her rightful place as a strong and godly voice of leadership in ministry!Prayer Memorize Luke 4:18-19. Pray that you begin to seek and then receive daily empowerment for the greater roles of ministry that God has for you. Welcome these roles! Know that God’s own Word has anointed and appointed you for “such a time as this”!
