Begin your study by reading “The Only Perfect Love” by Lisa Bevere (SpiritLed Woman magazine, April/May).
IntroductionGod, being perfect and loving, is the only perfect love. His Word promises us that He will never leave you, nor fail you. . . .that you can place your very life in Him. What God SaysRead Num. 23:19.
Write out the same Scripture and contemplate the significance of it. Draw comfort from God’s promises found in His Word!Deeper InsightRead the following Scriptures (in New King James Version, as the exercises to follow will be based on that). Make brief notes of what each Scripture is telling you about God being the only perfect love and how much He loves you.

For Group Study Begin your group time by reading aloud Deut. 31:6-8 and then discuss the promises of God’s love revealed from it. Share testimonies of how this Scripture has applied to the lives of group members.Also read aloud 1 John 4:18-19, and then share testimonies of how group members over came fear through experiencing the perfect love of God.Close the group session in prayer, each contributing to the prayer—thanking God for His being the only perfect love and thanking Him that His love will sustain them in specific (each name one request) situations to come in the week ahead.
PrayerRead and memorize 1 John 4:18: “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.” Recite it (read it or recite from memory) and then pray that the Lord replace any fear you have with a sense of His perfect love, in which no fear can “dwell.” Thank Him for a newfound sense of His peace, protection and His perfect love that surrounds you in all that you do today and from now on!
